Background

The political emancipation of the majority of South Africans has brought about many challenges for the new Government. One of such is the provision of infrastructure (housing, clinics, schools, roads) to all citizens of the country and such right has been enshrined in the new Constitution.

Further the Bill of Rights in the new Constitution provides that the state must take reasonable legislative and other measure, within its available resources, to achieve the progressive realization of rights.

The ground work of establishing a truly democratic society, which entrenches human freedom and economic emancipation, has been established. Assistance of the Government in achieving its Reconstruction and Development Program has become a challenge to both the Government and its citizens as well.

LESWENE TRADING CC is the brainchild of entrepreneurs who are passionate in alleviating the plight of the poor and who have a strong belief in social responsibility of each citizen towards his/her country.

The members have decided to join hands in an endeavor to provide infrastructure (building of houses , clinics, schools, roads), garden services, renovations, fencing, paving, painting, supply of stationery, meter reading (water and electricity), reconnection and disconnection of meter (water and electricity) and sustainable development of the underprivileged communities.
